Android Phone or Tablet
The TiviMate Companion app runs on Android phones and tablets only. Not available for iPhone. Use any Android device with Play Store access.

Install TiviMate Companion from Play Store
1 minOn your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store and search for 'TiviMate Companion'. Install the app by AR Mobile Dev. The Companion app is separate from the main TiviMate player — it handles Premium activation only.
Sign in with your TiviMate Premium account
1 minOpen TiviMate Companion and sign in with the Google account you used to purchase TiviMate Premium. The app verifies your subscription and shows your remaining device slots. One Premium account covers up to 5 devices.
Register your device in the Companion app
30 secIn the Companion app, tap 'Add Device' to register your Firestick. The app generates a unique device slot. TiviMate Companion communicates with TiviMate on your Firestick through your Google account. Both devices must use the same Google account.
TiviMate on Firestick auto-activates to Premium
30 secOpen TiviMate on your Firestick. Go to Settings → About → Activate Premium. TiviMate detects your Companion registration and unlocks Premium automatically. All premium features — recording, catch-up, multi-view — become available immediately.
Pro Tips for Companion Activation
- ●The Companion app is only needed for initial Premium activation. After activation, you can uninstall Companion from your phone — TiviMate stays Premium.
- ●One TiviMate Premium account covers up to 5 devices. Install TiviMate on multiple Firesticks and register each through Companion.
- ●Make sure your phone and Firestick use the same Google account. Mismatched accounts are the most common activation issue.
- ●If activation fails, close TiviMate completely on your Firestick (Settings → Apps → TiviMate → Force Stop) and reopen it. Companion syncs on the next launch.

TiviMate Companion is an Android app that activates TiviMate Premium on Firestick and Android TV devices. Since Amazon's Appstore doesn't support in-app purchases for TiviMate, the Companion app on Android handles the subscription and device registration. It is only needed during activation.
No. Once TiviMate Premium is activated on your Firestick, you can uninstall the Companion app from your phone. Premium stays active on your TiviMate app permanently. You only need Companion again if you reset your Firestick or want to add Premium to a new device.
One TiviMate Premium account covers up to 5 devices. You can activate Premium on 5 Firesticks, Android TV boxes, or a mix of both. Each device needs to be registered through the Companion app. The subscription cost is the same regardless of how many devices you use.
Unfortunately, TiviMate Companion requires an Android phone or tablet. It is not available for iPhone and there is no web-based activation. If you don't have an Android device, you can use an Android emulator like BlueStacks on your computer to run Companion and activate Premium.
If you've used all 5 device slots, you can free one up. On your old device, open TiviMate Companion → tap the device → Remove. Then register your new device. TiviMate Premium transfers instantly. If the old Firestick is broken, contact TiviMate support to release the slot.
